The creator and organiser of ZERMATT UNPLUGGED is the Zurich and Zermatt-based media and restaurant company TOM TALENT.
The festival's sponsors are Anni-Frid Prinzessin Reuss, who was one of the A's in ABBA, and Jon Lord, founder member of Deep Purple. The advisory board comprises Solstice Denervaud, founder and owner of Ishtar Music in Lausanne, rock musician and producer Chris von Rohr, Urs Leierer, who is founder and director of the Lucerne Blue Balls music festival, Zermatt municipal councillor Gerold Biner and local artist and entrepreneur Heinz Julen. Head of the steering committee is Thomas Sterchi, a rising star at TOM TALENT who has set up an Internet and printing company in Zurich and is now devoting his time to optimizing cultural happenings and events in Zermatt.
The main sponsor and marketing partner is Switzerland's largest Internet employment portal: jobs.ch. As part of its marketing concept, jobs.ch is committed to helping both established artists and in particular up-and-coming talent.
